File on computer have a strange icon next to them, and can't be accessed
Any files not used for a couple of days are no longer accessible and have a strange graphic next to the icon.
I'd be grateful for a solution to this problem.
I can't upload the screenshot...

We would need to see the strange graphic before anyone would know what it's referring to. You should be able to use this icon to attach a screenshot.
If it's not working, just upload the file to your Dropbox, create a view-only shared link to it and reply with the link.

Hi, I don't have a screen that looks anything like yours. There's no methid of taking a picture. My problem only occurs on my PC, not the website or phone. I can't add a screenshot here. Can I send yiu an email with a screenshot. The way I fixed the problem in the past was to delete alll traces of dropbox from my PC and do a complete new installation. That worked for a couple of months.

I have removed Dropbox from my PC again, and it has fixed the problem. This is not a long-term solution

Definitely not a long-term solution, but good to know it fixed this issue.
