Dropbox update android
Dropbox will not allow files to be opened, says needs update. Cannot see how to update the app.

You should be able to find the relevant option in the app's settings
On your Android device, follow these steps:
1. Tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner of the screen
2. Select "Settings"
3. Select “Clear Cache”Once this is done then please ensure you log out of the Dropbox application, then restart your device and log back in again.

Do you have the Word and Excel apps installed on your mobile device, which are required in order to edit those files?

Yes I do, everything was working fine yesterday but not working today.

Are you certain that the Word and Excel apps are running normally? Currently the minimum requirement for them is Android 9 or above.

Yes, they open files saved on my tablet.
