Dropbox badge not appearing when editing a spreadsheet

One of our team members can’t see the dropbox badge on the right, which means she can’t see if another team member is viewing or editing the file. She is accessing the folder the same way as I am, through the Dropbox menu icon on the top bar. She has always show Dropbox badge selected in Preferences, but it is still not showing. Her spreadsheet is not syncing with one team member but is syncing with another team member. Can anyone help?

    Hi davidapollo, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

     

    Have you check this information regarding the Dropbox Badge to ensure that it meet the requirements to run on their device and account?

     

    For instance, if the account has co-authoring enabled, or the file is in compatibility mode (xls, doc, ppt) then the Badge won't appear.

     

    This will help me to assist further!
