Thanks for posting your question, SY8.
At the moment, the context menu (right-click) items are a part of the Dropbox application's usability, so they cannot be deleted.
Quitting the Dropbox app or uninstalling it, would remove these options.
I hope this clarifies things, but let me know if you need anything else.

Hi Hannah,
as SY8 clearly demonstrates, the context menu is really populated a lot by your menu items and an icon next to all of them. I took my own screenshots. Context menu for desktop folder and for dropbox item. I did not put a red rectangle around them, they are more than clearly visible.
I wonder, if you guys at dropbox like it. I really don't. It pollutes the interface, takes up space and distracts me.
As dropbox matures, It offers more and more functions, that I, as a user, do not use and most probably will not use. I can imagine why you do that, but I don't need them. If you insist on offering them, there is always a clever way of hiding, bundling etc.
I do not want to criticise, I just want to hear your opinion on that. I imagine, that you have some UX and UI experts.
Have a good day,
David
ps
When I took these shots, there was a colourful popup window offering screenshots backup to dropbox...
