my phone shows I'm out of space, even though my Mac computer doesn't
My phone locked me out and said I needed to buy space. I deleted massive amounts of files from my Mac. My phone still locks me out. I removed my app and reinstalled and re-signed in. Still locking me out. Is phone not reading the new space post removing it from my Mac. I have also deleted trash on Mac.
- Thank you.
Problem solved. I think my phone sync had not caught up with mega deletions I had made on Mac. Plus I deleted trash. Took about 8 hours for sync to catch up. About 3 after deleted trash. I so appreciate help. ASIDE: CHAT cpt was also amazing

Hi ednalvarez, let's see what we can find together here!
When you say that your phone locked you out, do you mean that you see a message, that prevents you from accessing it?
If you have a screenshot, feel free to share it with me, in order to have a visual too.
Also, I'm curious to know what your plan page online reports.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

You should be able to post your screenshot here, by clicking the camera-like icon when trying to respond back to us ednalvarez.
If you don't see that option you might need to either use your browser on a computer, or request the desktop version when using your mobile's browser.
Feel free to also clarify the OS you're using on your end, along with the Dropbox mobile app version you have installed.
