I am a part of a group business account but my account is always full

My company has a business DropBox account and for some odd reason, my folder is always over the limit when someone in that group uploads stuff to the account, or when I try to upload stuff it tells me I don't have enough space even though it's a business group account. How can I fix this problem without affecting everyone else in the group? Can I delete files on my end without disrupting other people's access to certain files in the group?

It sounds like instead of being invited to join their Business Team account, you were invited to a shared folder instead, and shared folders take up space in your own account, even if you aren't the owner.

If they actually have a Business account, you'll want the Team Admin to send you an invitation to join the team. Upon acceptance, your account will be merged into the Business account (making them the owner of your account) and you'll gain access to any of the team resources that the admin assigns to you.
