Waiting to sync...taking 4 days and still no network activity

Hi jb76, thanks for joining the Community!
it looks like you’re running the beta version of the Dropbox desktop application.
To install our latest stable version, visit this page and switch ‘Early releases’ to Off. Afterwards, re-download the app from here.
Let me know if the app is able to sync after that!
- jb765 years agoHelpful | Level 6Hi Jay - I did switch the early release Preference to 'Off' today and downloaded the current release of the Dropbox app. to my desktop. Unfortunately, the large backup file I am trying to put in Dropbox is still 'Uploading' with no network activity. The release of the Dropbox app. I am currently running is '98.4.158'.
Thank you.

Could you try emptying the cache folder to see if this helps?
If need be, try moving the file out of the Dropbox folder and back in again.
- jb765 years agoHelpful | Level 6Hi Jay, I tried this before as well...I cleared the .dropbox.cache folder again this morning and noticed the Dropbox service restarted in my system tray. After restarting though, the status changed to 'Uploading 2 files @ 276 Kbps...' and then after 5 seconds changed to 'Uploading 2 files...'. There is no network activity (uploading) currently and the Dropbox processes on my computer are 'idle'.
