syncing issue, problem with VPN?

dropbox not syncing for some time now, forever stuck on indexing 39 files, tried to quite and reopen, installed the latest version, turn vpn off and on,  no luck still

    What OS version are you currently running on your computer?

     

    Do you see which files or folders in your Dropbox folder have a syncing icon on them?

    If you're having trouble syncing and think the VPN might be causing it, it could mess with your connection. Sometimes, VPNs slow things down or change your location, which affects how services sync. If you're using a free VPN, that might add more problems, especially if the server load is high.
