Hey Michael Monney, thanks for posting to our Community!
With Dropbox Business you can definitely set up your sharing the way you want.
You can use Groups, to share subfolders with different groups of team members and you can set things up, to share folders outside the team too.

No worries, Michael!
You can currently only include members of your team in the groups.
But you can share the same folders with external users individually.
