Invite to edit folder, unticked team option, no storage available

I've been invited to edit a folder by an organisation that I'm a sub-contracted with.  Clicking on the link in the invitation email took me a page which asked me if I wanted to join the organisation team or continue on my own dropbox.  I unticked the team option and continued with my own dropbox, however, I have a basic free account and it tells me that I don't have enough storage and I need to upgrade. I removed myself from the shared folder, logged out and requested the access again to the folder but the result is the same.  Is there a way I can return to choose join the team option page so I can access the shared folder.

Hi hh_16, thanks for messaging the Community!

It sounds like you're being invited to join a Dropbox Business team, however, you chose not to join the team, which kept your account separate from the team.

As it seems like the shared folder is too large for your account, you won't be able to add it. You could ask the owners of the folder to create a shared link to the folder, so you can view and download files. If you need to add files onto their account, they can create a file request as well.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

Is there any way to rejoin the business team.

If the invite link is no longer valid, then you'll need to ask the team admin to send you another invite link to join the team.
