Hi yellowdp, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
As you're on the newer version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS, those sync icons can be explained from this link.
Currently, it isn't possible to completely disable the online-only option on this version of the app.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

According to the explanation here, please see the picture I posted, why the green icon and cloud icon are displayed at the same time? And I see a green icon file, but my file still cannot be open in offline. Every time I open it, I need to wait for the download first. Why?
Why Available offline icon and Online-only icon are displayed on one file at the same time?

Hi yellowdp, can you let me know the version of the app that you're using on your end, along with its current syncing status?
Have you tried restarting your device, or quitting the app, and then opening it again?

hey Dropbox. What the actual flying f*ck is going on with this app? What the hell is online only? Why the flips have you ruined this product? Guess what - I do not want "online only" at all in any way or form. What the f*ck!? I stumbled upon this after mistakenly upgrading as well. Now I cannot access any of my code that I need to run on my flipping terminal.
