Dropbox stop syncing MYPASSPORT.LAN folders
Hi,
further recent migration of Dropbox folder, I found that it stopped syncing folders outside the Dropbox folder.
I mean, I previously could sync a position named MYPASSPORT.LAN which includes Downloads and Desktop folders on my Mac.
Although these folders are still present on my Dropbox Web, they appear not to be synced with the corresponding folder on my Mac.
I received an alert when moving a file from a folder within Dropbox to the Download folder claiming the file would not be on my Dropbox anymore, so I checked and realized discrepancies between Mac and Dropbox Web.
How to recover syncing on both Desktop and Download folders??
The user can link multiple apps to different accounts. They may need to sign in/out of dropbox.com though, as necessary, since you can only link an app to an account when signed in to that account. Once they do so though, they don't need to re-authorize each time they use the app. Each app will receive an access token for whichever account was used, and those access tokens can be stored and re-used without further manual user intervention.)
(For uses with paired Business and personal accounts, the web portion of this is somewhat streamlined as they can be signed in to both on dropbox.com at the same time.)

Hi Cappa57, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Since it sounds like the Dropbox folder has moved due to being on the new version for Mac OS, this is why you're experiencing this new behavior.
As your symlinks no longer seem to work any longer, you could try using the computer backup feature to have your folders moved into the Dropbox folder to sync to your account online.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
