I can't sync CATIA V5 .CAT drawing files to the Windows desktop app after editing them.

Dropbox can't sync CATIA V5 .CATdrawing file if there is any edit , this bug exists on every dropbox version for a very long time . It reminds "can't store data when write "  , there is no such kind of issue on Onedrive .

Hi wen j., welcome to our forum.

First off, can you clarify the current syncing status and app version of the Dropbox app, just to have a general image?

Also, to make sure I got it right, do you see any option to save your edits in a new file? Or are you only receiving the error that shows in your screenshots and you can’t save your edits at all?

Let me know and we’ll go from there.

I'm now using dropbox 213.4.4597 , this bug appears on every dropbox version as I know .

There is no any other option , I can't save any edits if keep the dropbox desktop on .  So everytime , I need to close the dropbox desktop if I want to edit .CATdrawing .

Hi wen j., could you walk me through the steps that you follow when you get this error?

Do you get it after you've edited a file in CATIA?

Just to make sure we're on the same page: do you keep Dropbox open, and then use the third-party app to edit content when this happens?
