Some files are missing after deleting conflicted copies - I don't see them in my Deleted files page.
A while ago, I noticed my main work folder had syncing issues between my home and work PCs, and had created a duplicate "conflicted version". I checked quickly and deleted the folder that seemed to ...

Hi Nancy, sorry for the slow reply. I have tried searching for a couple of missing files but they do not appear. I've tried trying to find them in the Events page but the sheer volume of movement is overwhelming. Is there anyway of just recuperating all the files that were there before 17 September, but without deleting any new files.
I'm am missing key accounting files from my business and I cannot see them by searching (perhaps I am remembering the wrong filenames) and I've tried scrolling through in the Events page but there are just too many files and movements.
Thanks in advance,
Catherine

Hey cathstoneman, let me also jump in here!
You might want to take a look at Dropbox Rewind. Dropbox Rewind is helpful if you’re trying to undo a large number of changes in a given folder or in your entire account.
If this doesn't work, or if it doesn't suit your needs; I'd be happy to send you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this together.

Hi Megan,
I don't seem to have an option for Rewind. It sounds like it might be the simplest solution, although still extremely time consuming for me to check all the folders that have been impacted (since the chaos in my folders only seems to have impacted some folders, not all). I'm also concerned about not deleting files that have been added since the chaos occurred, so I guess I should make a back-up of the existing folders, and then add more recent files back in?
So, first things first: how to I get Rewind?
Thanks,
Catherine

Hm, have you tried using a different browser when accessing Dropbox Rewind cathstoneman?
I'm asking since you should be able to have the feature when using a Plus plan. In any case, if this doesn't matches what you wish to achieve, feel free to contact our Support team directly.
