Files are randomly restored. Why?
I'm not sure if I have the right board. I'm using the free version of Dropbox so I go out daily and delete the previous backup to stay under my storage limit. For the past few weeks, Dropbox randomly restores files taking me over my storage limit. Recently it's been happening daily. How go I get this to stop?

If a file is returning after being deleted, something else is causing it. Look at the version history for one of the restored files and see where the restore is occurring.

I couldn't find anything that would allow me to view the document history. Yesterday I had 2 files in my folder. The backup ran overnight so I should have had 4 this morning. I had 5, one was from 9/8/2023.
