Was the folder in question a shared or a non-shared one?
Do you perhaps see the deletion event in your events page here?

I think I found the files that were in the folder but for some strange reason the folder itself isn’t listed as being deleted or anywhere though it is no longer listed.
I have hit restore on the files and am hopeful I’ll get back what I need.
