Uploading one video from iphone to dropbox

I want to manually upload a single video from my iphone X (latest iOS) to dropbox.  I selected video on iphone and clicked "save to dropbox"; after waiting a few min, it tells me to select a dropbo...

    Yes to both questions.

    I think the issue may have been due to iCloud; because it was turned on, I could not transfer the video to dropbox on my phone or from phone to PC. Instead, I downloaded the video from iCloud to PC to dropbox.
