Yes, the issue persists, but the work-around stops working.
Starting Dropbox back up allows the work-around to work again.

I'm having the same problem, except when I quit Dropbox, the issue goes away and the preview starts working again.

I want to make it clear to the support folks that this was not my answer to Hanna's question.
For me, the problem persists no matter what. With Dropbox not running, my work-around doesn't work. It starts working again once Dropbox is running again. - DBX_Pedro3 months agoCommunity Manager
