Issue when trying to download a 50 GB file from the website
Downloading a 50GB MOV file will complete the download incompletely. The file size is correct, but part of the file is 0x00 for 1024KB. Occurs when downloading multiple files at once with a browser...

Since I'm using translation fanction, my sentences might be strange.
thank you for your reply.
Thank you for letting me know the size of the download limit.
I can download one file at a time without any problems.
My client is a business account.
I need about 30 downloads at a time as a job.
When I try to download normally, it is very complicated to download once every 30 minutes.
Do I always have to do the download operation once every 30 minutes?
This bug occurs regardless of the browser on both MAC and windows10.
This defect is found in video files as a small amount of noise.
The download appears to have completed successfully, so you can only see the problem by playing all the video files.
As long as this bug exists, Doropbox's download system will be evaluated as unusable for business.
How can I act to escalate to a support department that takes this issue seriously?

Hi ken48, could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?
Otherwise, you can try using incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.

I have confirmed that edge crome safari fails in any browser.
Even if I executed the cache clear, it did not change.
For both windows10 and MAC, the problem occurs even after initializing the hard disk and installing a new OS.If you download 5 50GB files at the same time, they will be downloaded in parallel.
After downloading, download the same 5 files again.
If you check the file size, it is the same in bytes.
If you calculate the HASH values one by one, you will see that the files are different.Using an application that compares the difference between files one byte at a time, I investigated what is different between the two files, and from the multiple of 1024KB from the beginning, I found that the data for 1024KB is 0x00. I did.
After trying various things, I found that I could download correctly by downloading one by one instead of downloading in parallel.
- Jay3 years agoDropbox StaffAre you downloading files from the same shared link, or from different shared links at the same time?
- ken483 years agoExplorer | Level 4
I'm downloading with one shared link.
This link links to a folder. I choose one of the multiple files in the folder and download it. When the download starts, select the next file and download it. By repeating this, 5 downloads are performed in parallel at the same time.
