How to expand the left side column on the website to make it wider?
My left side column is only about an inch wide, it does not seem like I can make it wider. I cannot see the full name of all of the folders in my Dropbox because the left side column is only about a...

I tried that and also tried using both Chrome and Safari and the left sidebar won't get any wider than an inch or so

Hey SPop! Can you also test this out via an incognito window?
If you try to make the sidebar more narrow instead, does that work or it doesn’t move at all?
I’m just trying to check if it’s at its max width already.

I can make it narrower, it seems the widest I can make it is about 1.25 inches. But it used to be able to make it wider than that

Thanks for giving that a go! It sounds like you’ve reached the current max width then.
I’ve passed your feedback and comments over to our team though for them to consider.

Hi @Spop and @Nancy,
I hit this page, because I was searching for a solution for not being able to make the left-hand navigation pane wider. I have a folder structure with 1 or 2 subfolders. But even with 1 subfolder and having meaningful names, the left navigation pane is annoyingly narrow. It does not show the full folder name, so it sometimes obfuscates meaningful parts.
I remember it was possible to make this pane wider. But since some time this is not possible anymore. Hard to say since when this is ongoing.
I expect to abe able to drag the left pane to at least 30% of my screen width. Currently, it appears to be only 15%.
I really hope Dropbox is going to improve on this.
