- 8 years agoYou would need to manually move the files yourself - there isnt an automated way to do it.
You can either move them online using the web interface, or, your computer if you've installed Dropbox.

I find it unbeleivable that DropBox do not offer a merge feature. Google Drive is running circles around your developers.
DropBox messed up an upload so that I am left with half a folder to upload. When I move the half populated subfolders to their counterparts, DropBox just creates a new folder like so xyz(1).
Stupid and time consuming. Hire some UX designers!

I do have the exact same problem. I am really stuck. After chatting with the help line I was really upset. especially after the problem was originated from dropbox staff after doing an upgrade to teams. Very very inconvinient.
I will download all the **bleep** I have now online and stop using dropbox. Unless someone guides me thru this issue.

I agree that it sucks that they dont have basic file management tools. I have had no joy from support either with any questions - and Im an implementation specialist who installed complex systems. I hope they get their act together because Im almost fed up
