    The GetContentAsStream method yields a Stream, so you should be able to use CopyTo like this:

     

    var strm = await response.GetContentAsStreamAsync();
    
    using (var fileStream = File.Create(localFilePath))
    {
        strm.CopyTo(fileStream);
    }
