Today I just got an unexpected bill from DropBox (renewed subscription?) for $119.88. At first they sent me to JustAnswer which tried to bill me for an additional $52 - after much effort I finally got that membership cancelled and my money refunded. The DropBox is totally unsuccessful at anything. I want to cancel EVERYTHING in DropBox and get a refund for the 0 services I have used since I was informed about the bill. I don't even want a free account; I haven't used DropBox for years. How can I contact a real person in Dropbox to sort this out? I recently signed up for a free 30 day trial and cancelled my subscription back to basic before the 30 days elapsed. However my credit card was charged and seeking a refund. Hello! My Credit card was expired, and I cancelled the subscription the day it was supposed to renew, but still got charged. How can I request and receive a refund? Hi everyone, In early April, I contacted Dropbox Support to cancel my paid subscription. On April 4th, I received confirmation via Ticket #24953311 that the cancellation and refund had been processed, and that the amount would be returned within 3 to 5 business days. However, more than a month has passed and I still haven’t received the refund. I tried reaching out again, but was redirected to an unmonitored inbox (Ticket #25009410), and haven’t received any response since. Has anyone in the community experienced a similar issue or knows how to actually get in touch with someone from the Dropbox team who can help? Hi, I have been seeing a $19.99 transaction on my bank statements since March of 2024. I have always used the free Basic Dropbox plan, and it also has always been through my employers Dropbox account. This has cost me an estimated amount of $320. I've tried everything from removing my card info from my computer to deleting my Dropbox account entirely. Nothing has worked. I was charged $199 on May 9th to my credit card for a Dropbox account that is no longer active. This account is linked to a workplace email I no longer have access to. The transaction ID is: [removed from the Community for security reasons] I attempted to use your receipt look up tool, entering the transaction ID along with my card details, but the page does not respond or return any result — it appears the tool is currently not functioning. I also called the support number listed [removed from the Community for security reasons] but that line is not working either. Please process a refund for this charge promptly. I should not have to jump through this many hoops to resolve a billing issue for an inactive account. Let me know if you need anything else from my end to proceed. Dear Dropbox I have just been charged 119,89 Euros for a plus subscription. I have never had a Plus subscription before and when I log into my account I’m subscribed with Basic plan. I saw a similar post to mine. I registered this new account so I can send this discussion, for urgent attention. I need an urgent action to my Refund request ( I logged ticket # 25147780 ). Basically , my free trial period was due to expire on 31 May 2025 (I received an email reminder on 25May). I noticed in my savings account a "pending" transaction fee of $306.90, so I cancelled my free trial on 27 May 2025 (I saved a screen print saying ""You've successfully cancelled your trial"). After cancelling the free trial, I deleted my account. Yesterday, 28 May 2025, I noticed I was billed $306.90 plus an international transaction fee $9.21 .
