Hi there So my computer completely died without any warning. I have a new computer and logged into Dropbox. But I have no files for the last 3 years. I have all my other stuff which goes back to 2008. I use Dropbox all the time. I see that at one stage I must have signed up for Dropbox Plus but that I stopped paying for it in 2022 because the card I was using expired. I don't think I realised this. Could this be the issue? I seem to have plenty of storage still with the free plan. Can anyone help me work out why I can't see the last 3 years of my files? It's not a total disaster but I would like them back if possible. Many thanks Emma19Views0likes2CommentsI want to get my Individual DB Account back
I had a personal subscription plan with 2 TB earlier, and one of my clients has added me to their Company DB account recently. This is my 2nd time that the Admin of that company has deleted my account from their and now I cannot get my old files since I have re-registered with my email (xxxxxxx@gamil.com) to try to get my files promptly. Now I have a brand new account with 2GB of space. I have already requested to add me to their company account again, then I can leave it by myself after restoring my files, hopefully. Could you guys please help me out to correct this issue and get my Files back with the previous account?11Views0likes1CommentAdmin multiple roles
As an admin I want to assign multiple admin roles to another user. Issue details: Please can I request additional improvements to the Admin roles that can be associated with a users account. At present, User Management, Billing, Content are all separate role types; which can only be assigned to a single user each. We have the requirement for one user to have access to User Management AND Billing AND Content. However this cannot be done. The only current workaround is for the user to be made 'team Admin' which poses a confidentiality issue . Please can you provide functionality for users to be assigned more than one role.9Views0likes0CommentsMy Dropbox account was hacked and the hacker enabled two-step verification, so I can't access it.
I have two dropbox accounts, one for personal use and one for professional use. Today I got an email that my professional account had been logged into and someone had enabled two-factor authentication. Because of this, I am not able to get into that account to change the password and Dropbox has been of NO help. I am unable to find any information on what I can do, especially because the hacker has enabled the two-factor authentication connected to their phone number.19Views0likes1CommentVerification puzzle loops when I try to sign into my account.

I was looking at my Photos yesterday and discovered three photos that are not mine. The reason I saw them is that they are dated 2037 (December). I looked at the photo information and they are from a Nikon Coolpix L18, which I don't own. Nobody who would be air dropping photos to me has a Nikon Coolpix L18. The time stamp for the photos are 11:59 pm. Two of the photos are in outdoors in daylight, which is not likely to happen at 11:59 pm. I realize that whomever these photos belong to probably either altered the timestamp or had an incorrect date and time setting in the camera. Other than the sheer strangeness of seeing photos that are not mine in my Photos gallery, I am concerned that these photos might be some sort of trojan. Yes, I can just delete them, but that would make it difficult to get the bottom of this anomaly. Any thoughts, insight, assistance with this issue is much appreciated.40Views0likes8CommentsCan Dropbox delete files? I hadn't accessed my account in a while and it's now empty.
I haven't logged on in a while, and my account is completely empty. Does Dropbox delete stuff? If so, that's messed up! I had lots of photos in there! And I can't contact them because I'm on a free account...Solved51Views0likes4CommentsI can't change my account's email. It says it is already taken?!?!
I am trying to update my email to a new email address but I keep getting an error stating that my new email is already in use. When I try to use the new email to sign into an account I am then prompted to set up a new account using my new email. How do I fix this?40Views0likes6Comments
