I've mistakenly upgraded my Dropbox storage plan with my wrong email address. I've had an account for years with 2TB storage and it was nearing full, so received many reminders to upgrade. What I think I then did was to pay for a new account by accident by using a wrong email address in the process. Spotting this I want to know how I can unwind this - one account all paid up? Hello, I'm no longer able to access my original Dropbox account, which has an email-based login. I was able to access this account a few hours ago until I mistakenly accessed Dropbox using the Google-based login. As the Google login used the same email as my original email-based account, now every time I log in using email and password I can only see the Google-based account. It looks like this has replaced my original account, and all files are missing. All of this despite logging out and trying many times to reset the password. I have found other posts created by users with the same problem, but none of them seem to have a solution explained in the thread. I have been paying $19.99/month since February 2019, but apparently also have a free basic DropBox account. Each were created using two different email accounts, but when I try to login with either account, they both login to the same account - which is the free basic account, so I can't get any chat or email support to help me. All of the online "support" ends up with showing my plan as the basic, and I have no way to gain tech support via chat or email. Hello. I run a business, and a client mistakenly added me to a teams account, which i then accepted. Then, with them realizing their mistake of adding me, deleted my account. As such, I have lost my entire account and all files. In talking to this client, they said they could see my account in their deleted accounts history, but did not have an ability to restore it. Is it because I remade this account with the same email? Do I need to delete this account and allow them to restore it? It has been less than 7 days, and I don't believe the account was permanently deleted. I recently wiped my PC's hard drive to get a fresh start, I don't have any other device signed in to dropbox, so my only option are the recovery worlds. I input all the words, but then I get a red letter message that says "Something went wrong—please try again." I know I have the right words because If I change any of them on purpose I'll get "That doesn’t look right. Check your spelling and try again". I tried to connect Onlyoffice app to my Dropbox account on my phone (android) and should then prove that I am "human" by sorting a puzzle of placing a figure in a seat by combining a number wíth some icon. Even though I managed to sort the puzzle (several times) the Captcha just started over again. It was a terrible waste of time, when I just wanted to be able to write in my drop box files using onlyoffice and I feel really stupid that I am actually PAYING for this. Even though I until now have been a happy drop box customer. There must be other ways.
