Hey TooMuch2Do914, thanks for reaching out to us.
If I understand correctly, this directory is currently saved to your account online, but hasn't synced to your local Dropbox folder, right?
If so, does the name of the directory contain any of the characters in this article?
And what is the sync status of the Dropbox application at the moment?
You can hover over your Dropbox icon, to see this info.
Let me know what you find.

Correct, the directory is online but has not synched to my laptop. The only special character is a hyphen. Synch status is up to date. Version is Dropbox 209.4.3661

Hi TooMuch2Do914, is the folder enabled in the selective sync settings in the Dropbox desktop application?

When I click on the Dropbox app icon to bring it up, I get a tiny circle for a second and then it disappears. Should I uninstall and reinstall?
