Dropbox Dash - Dropbox cannot be linked
https://www.dropbox.com/dash/setup/vc/work
Hello dear support, either my English is too bad or it just doesn't work?? I can't even add dropbxo itself at https://www.dropbox.com/dash/setup/vc/work! Always with the message: "Dropbox cannot be linked." No matter whether I try it on the web with Dropbox Dash or install the app on Windows or on MAC, it doesn't work. No matter what WLAN I'm on, no matter what browser, I always get the message "Dropbox cannot be linked". I also can't link OneDrive or Google Drive. My Dropbox account: [removed per the Community's Guidelines] Kind regards, Richard

Hey there KolbebubDE - thanks for bringing this to our attention and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting so that we can have a visual too?
Also, have you made sure that early releases are toggled on in your account's settings?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there, Richard.

Hello Walter,
Also, have you made sure that early releases are toggled on in your account's settings?
yes, I checked that. Pre-release versions are accepted. Screenshots are attached but there probably aren't many of them except this: "Dropbox could not be linked" screenshot from Mac and Windows. I probably have a mistake in my thinking somewhere... Kind regards, Richard

I have the exact same problem. In Dropbox, it says Dash is linked. In Dash, it says no apps are linked. And when I click on add dropbox, it says Dropbox cannot be connected. When I try to connect it to my google drive, it says Goggle Drive cannot be connected. In short, Dash is useless, because it won't connect to any of the apps/services that purport to make it useful. This is not a beta -- it doesn't even have basic beta functionality.

Hey there, TommyB333 & KolbebubDE, I hope you're doing well!
Would you be able to reboot your device, and then try again but this time using either Chrome or Edge as your browser extension?
Also, can you confirm if your account is eligible to use Dropbox Dash based on these requirements?

Whether Windows or Mac. No matter how often I boot. No matter whether I use Edge or Safari or Chrome or Firefox, always the same result as described.
Also, can you confirm if your account is eligible to use Dropbox Dash based on these requirements?
Yes, I can confirm that my dropbox essentials account corresponds to these points. - Megan2 years ago

No worries KolbebubDE!
Thanks for trying anyways.
Can I send you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this there? We might need to escalate your case internally.

Hi, is there a solution to this? After today's Dash upgrade none of the apps is allowed to be connected, not even one, except Chrome extension...
The error log in the browser console says: https://api.dropboxapi.com/2/janus_oauth/initiate_oauth_connection is forbidden returning 403.
Cheers
