third party integrations

The new Microsoft Teams integration is great; we can now open shared links directly on the Desktop via the native app, which is a great time saver. Only bug for the integration is that users have to login to Dropbox via Teams every other day. It loses the login authorization and the 'open file in app' function is then not available anymore. Users need to login everyday in to Dropbox via Teams to make it work again.49Views0likes3CommentsHow can I save signed PDF documents to the folder they originated from?
Hi! I've used Dropbox Sign for quit a while. I draw up WORD documents. And signed them via Dropbox, through a browser window. WORD document got transformed into PDF for signing. The PDF were saved (in-process or completed or signed) in the same source folder. Now, I use WORD 16.9 with the HELLOSIGN add-on. Signing is easy and fast. However, the signed PDF documents don't get saved into the same source folder. I have to go and fetch them in a browser window or in emails. That's a waste of time for me. How can I set parameters so that all signed documents get saved into the same location, next to the original WORD documents? Thank you, Freddy11Views0likes1CommentDropbox AI applied to LLM
I'm surprised there's not more recent talk of this ... have I missed it? First, I don't appear to have access to Dropbox Third-Party AI. Is there a way I can get this? Second, what is happening with Dropbox's ability to pair up with a LLM to get the ability to chat deeply with a catalog of files?15Views0likes1CommentOpen shared links directly in native app
A few years have passed since this request and as a business this would save us allot of time and irritation. As a company we share daily hundreds of links to files via Microsoft Teams with each other. Now the situation is as follow: 1 link is shared 2 team member clicks on the link 3 browser opens the link to the file 4 user clicks on 'open in dropbox' button Ideal situation would be that admins and users have a File open preference, where links to files can directly open in the native apps: 1 link is shared 2 team member clicks on it and the file is synced and opened in the native app Microsoft Teams has a great solution to this problem for Office-applications, called File open preference, see screenshot. It would be great if Dropbox could also build this feature in it's Dropbox-apps.8.2KViews17likes5CommentsSprig Electron View holds up shutting down windows 10
Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, and apparently dropbox changed from program to "app" (hate them vs. full programs), every time I shut down my computer, it sits and waits for a half minute or more for something called Sprig Electron View, and finally shuts down. Apparently this has something to do with dropbox. If I manually quit dropbox before shutting down, then shutdown works almost instantly. I want that instantly. So, what is this program, can I remove it and still use dropbox, if so, how. Or how do I get it to stop holding up the shutdown command? Thanks.12KViews4likes9CommentsI have a Dropbox Plus, but no option to enable Dropbox AI.
Hello. As the headline states, I am a plus customer and would like to activate the possibility to add ai support for third party apps. This, so I can sort all my photos. The language is set to English (US) and I've signed up for beta updates since a long time ago. When in settings, the toggle is still glowing with its abscense though? My goal is to apply some sort of program which helps me sort my thousands and thousands of pictures. This by automated facial recognition. All help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!43Views0likes1CommentDo you access your Dropbox content on other apps outside of the Dropbox app? Feedback appreciated!
Hi everyone, My name isEmily, a Product Manager on the Dropbox Mobile app team and I am here because I wanted to reach out to the community to learn about how you access your Dropbox content outside the Dropbox app. We are planning to make some improvements to the way Dropbox integrates with other apps and want to hear your feedback. Here are a few questions to get the conversation started: What apps do you use to access your Dropbox content (outside of Dropbox)? What types of devices do you use them on? (iOS, Android, tablet, etc) How often do you use these apps? (daily, weekly, monthly) What works about this set up? What doesn’t? Is there anything you‘d like to see improved from the Dropbox side? We understand that everyone's experience may differ, so we welcome all types of feedback, positive or negative. We're committed to continuously improving our product so your feedback will help us make it better. Thank you in advance for your time and input. We're excited to hear what you have to say! Thanks, Emily, Mobile team501Views0likes3CommentsI'm getting conflicted copies when using Pages on my iPad with Dropbox files.
Hi there. Whenever I use Pages on my iPad for word processing and the file it’s using is sourced from Dropbox I’m getting multiple conflicted copies generated. It feels like 1 every 5 minutes or whenever the program auto-saves so 30 minutes of writing will generate multiple conflicted copies in my Dropbox folder. Anyone have any solutions or workarounds to this? Thanks386Views1like4CommentsDropbox and Boxcryptor - can't access my Thesis files anymore.
Dear Community, I have a serious problem and hope somebody can help me: I am working since month on my diploma thesis, all files for that stored under Dropbox in a directory encrypted with boxcryptor classic, which I made visible as drive "K".Since two days I cannot open any of my files anymore. Word, Excel etc. all tell me, that the documents cannot be read and maybe corrupted. If I try to use Windows explorer to copy one of these files from the boxcryptor drive "K" to any local directory, explorer tells me that he source file or the source drive could not be opened - but it is full visible in explorer and Boxcrypter opens up the encrypypted directory with my password w/o any complains. I have not changed anything in my installation. How can I get access to my files again? I am using boxcryptor classic v 1.3.2 and dropbox client v213.4.4597. I really need your help!
