I have a Sound FX library that I keep on Dropbox. 200GB. When I downloaded them, half of them no longer work. A few things happen: They won't play in quicktime but they will play in Audition They will play in Audition sometimes or once, but if I try to reload them into Audition, they are corrupted. Sometimes if I download the files individually they will work. But this is not consistent. Hello, My python code has been working well for months. Within the past 48 hours, the files_download command in the snippet below (with tokens obfuscated) has started to take about 45 seconds while previously it was instantaneous. It would be immensely helpful to me to be able to automatically download every file to a folder on my Android phone when it syncs with my Dropbox account, the same way it does on my Windows PC. I can't seem to be able to find a way to do this automatically the way it works on desktop, and it's very frustrating. I'm not sure if it matters, but I'm using the free version of Dropbox. Hello The external USB hard drive which I used with Dropbox Backup was physically damaged and will not connect. I would like to download 1TB of files stored in Dropbox Backup to put onto a new drive. Is there a way to point the entire Dropbox backup at a new drive? Reading this, if I log out and log back into Dropbox on my Mac, my only computer, can I point Dropbox Backup to a new External and have it download all of the files slowly? I'm having issues with downloading 60+GB video files for a client (who pays for a 5TB Dropbox standard account). 1) Dropbox seems to be throttling my download at 5mb/s. Hello! I have 2 questions: I sell audiocourses in books and give the users access to the audiofile with a QR Code. After buying the book the user can scan the qr code with his phone and listen to the audios (the audio player directly starts). 1) Is it ok to use dropbox for this function? 2) Is there any data transfer happening from user side, if he access the audio? Awhile back I used SmartSync to free up disk space. I'm now trying to ensure all files are on the local disk rather than only online. Is there a way to accomplish this? One idea: under preferences in the Dropbox.com settings I found an option to drop the Dropbox file extension, which "allows Dropbox to store files as online-only to save hard drive space." When I toggle it on without saving, I'm told "The system extension will be uninstalled and you’ll be signed out of Dropbox on all devices within the hour. When you sign back in, you can choose what folders to download from Dropbox.com. You will no longer be able to make files online-only."
