Error "Can't upload. Your team no longer has full use of Dropbox Business features.
Unable to use drag and drop to upload files in browser - have tested both Chrome and Safari, Incognito and normal modes. Both browsers up to date. I receive the following error message: Note - I'm on a Personal account, NOT Business. I also have more than .5 GB of free space still available. This error message is appearing for all files types, including small .pdfs that are not exceeding that amount of free space on my DropBox. Thanks
Errors when trying to load my folder list and copy & move files on the website
For the past two days on the Dropbox website (Chrome browser Windows), I have gotten get Aw, Snap! or RESULT CODE HUNG memory error after waiting (and waiting) for the folder list to populate while trying to copy or move files. I have done all of the troubleshooting I can think of: My internet connection(s) are fine. In fact, I'm getting same error on each of our 3 different WiFi providers. My RAM says: 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable), and there plenty of memory space available on my Dell laptop. My Chrome version is up to date; and I have cleared caches, removed bad Chrome extensions, and even changed Chrome DNS settings. Same error occurs in Chrome incognito and in Microsoft Edge. I am not able to do this project on the Dropbox desktop or iPhone app. Failure of the folder list to populate makes it impossible to finish end-of-year projects. Is there something going on? Or are there any other suggestions? Thank you, amcoffice
Get rid of popups in the browser letting me know I just deleted content.
When I am using Dropbox in my browser, every time I delete a file or folder I get a little black bar popup notification that tells me I just deleted a file or folder. But I already know that. I have to click Close to get rid of it. I know it goes away, but I never want to see it in the first place. The option to Undo could be handy, but couldn't it be something less annoying than a popup (distracting, and blocks the view of whatever is beneath it)?Dropbox job application form not submitting.
Hi there! I'm applying for a job at Dropbox and am running into a problem with the application form. When I submit the completed form, the page scrolls back towards the top and does not submit. No error messages or form field validation messages are shown. I'm not missing any required fields, have tried clearing cookies and cache and tried multiple browsers and devices. When downloading a large File, the process always stops at 11GB.
I try to download a file (18.9 GB) from DropBox. But, it always stops at around 11.6 GB this has happened in previous projects also. I don't know how to solve this, I tried download manager, but it didn't solve. If anyone knows this problem please help me out.
Excel for the web is no longer able to load files.
Hello, My friend and I share multiple excel files that we use regularly. So far that worked like a charm! We've done so for years and we never really had any problems. But since this week, the larger files won't open anymore. Even files that we don't update anymore and always opened in Excel for the web, won't open anymore. Has anything changed? I've tried different browsers, clearing the browser cache, but it isn't working. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance!
File size display completely wrong on Dropbox.com
Long-time user here with Dropbox Advanced account. Dropbox has an article on how to view file sizes online: https://help.dropbox.com/storage-space/file-size Here is the problem: • I have folders filled with files that appear as "--" on the list (no size) — this is wrong • I have one folder with more than 2 GB inside of it that appears as ">527.41 KB" on the list — obviously false and misleading • There are other folders with similarly misleading sizes Given that I have hundreds of folders, you can see how this file size functionality is completely useless, because the user either can't trust it, or can't see the size of the folder. Can you kindly fix this bug?Turn off line numbering when viewing text files
Is there a way to disable the entirely unnecessary and unhelpful line numbering when viewing text files? I don't need it and I don't want it. Why on earth was that added? I love Dropbox but they really need to stop springing surprise features on customers and allow us to opt-in. Some of the interface changes lately have been a huge nuissance and I've had to waste a bunch of time figuring out how to roll them back or disable them.Audio transcription malfunction, hard line breaks partway across every line
Recently when I have copied .wma audio transcripts from Dropbox to a Word document, the text inserts a hard line break on every line of the page about 2/3 horizontally across the page, with breaks landing in mid sentence. It never used to do this. The previous transcription format wasn't all that great either, and needed a certain amount of cleanup, but this latest glitch makes the transcribed text almost impossible to work with. Needless to say this is very annoying, as I use the transcript feature a lot. Could this problem please be addressed?
Moving files via the web interface is glacially slow - how to fix?
Hi: I'm trying to use the web interface to move pictures out of the "Camera uploads" folder and into a holding folder for later sorting. There are around 3k images that I would like to move, but the web interface returns an error along the lines of "that's too many files to move". That seems dumb (3k files isn't an unreasonably large number), but whatever. The real problem occurred when I tried to move the files in batches. I selected around 800 and tried to move them - I waited at least 10 mins before I gave up. As far as I can tell, no files were moved. Why is this and is there any fix other than moving the files using file explorer and then letting the changes sync to the web? Thanks, -Jeremy
