🌸 Spring isn’t just for cleaning your home, it’s the perfect excuse to give your digital space a fresh start too 💻✨. If your desktop looks like a chaotic mess of random files and folders 📂, it may be slowing you down (and let’s be honest, stressing you out 😵💫). But don’t worry, with Dropbox, tidying up your digital messiness is easier than ever. Here’s how to get organised and bring some Springtime zen 🧘♂️🌿 to your workspace. Move Files to the Cloud – Transfer important documents photos and work files to Dropbox. This keeps them safe and accessible from any device while clearing up space on your desktop 💻 . Create Folders and Subfolders – Organise your files by category project or date. A clear folder structure makes it easier to locate what you need without searching through endless icons 📂. Use Selective Sync – With Dropbox Selective Sync you can access files from your desktop without taking up space on your hard drive. Mark files as online-only to free up even more room. Check out Amy’s article on Dropbox Selective Sync here. Delete or Move Old Files – If you no longer need certain files consider deleting or moving them to online only within Dropbox. Keeping only what you use regularly helps maintain a clean and efficient workspace 📤. Set Up Automated Backups – Use Dropbox Backup to ensure your desktop files are always protected. Good morning, I have my company dropbox email but was not previously connected to our shared folders. Our Admin person sent a link to the shared folders. When I select it, it wants me to register. When I try to register is says the account (email) already exist. I also get a request to upgrade my account. This should not be the case as our company has and manages our Dropbox accounts. I am not going to pay for a license if it is supposed to be included in our company bundle. How do I get this resolved? Thanks9Views0likes1CommentWhat is happening to the Dropbox Send & Track feature?
I bought DropBox ONLY because it had the Send and Track feature. Am I correct in understanding, that: That it no longer functions and I should another service, open a separate account (both DropBox AND Send and track subscription) or what should I do? That I cannot find my old reports? Because no matter where I look, I cannot find anything on videos that I previously had connected to Send and Track. I am puzzled.14Views0likes1CommentDropbox public links have been suspended for generating excessive traffic. Now what?
I have tried to download a large file shared with me from a client a number of times and every time it is about to finish the folder gets corrupted and I get a suspension from Dropbox? Why is this happening? I am not the owner of the files I am trying to download, and I am pretty sure the owner of the files pays for the service, so why is this happening?93Views0likes12CommentsShared link to folder from Quickbase channel takes me to empty folder
I am using the Quickbase Dropbox channel to create a folder and upload files to that folder. I then get the Share URL using the Quickbase Dropbox channel and save it in a Quickbase table. I can see the folder and its files when I log into my Dropbox account. But when I use the Share URL in my browser, I get a screen showing the folder name but that it is empty. I need to see the files also.Solved34Views0likes2CommentsOpen dropbox file/folder links open on desktop
Hi there. Love Dropbox. I moved our whole team to it from Google Drive much to all of our delight. The one hiccup that keeps coming up (was also an issue with Drive, but would be a game changing new feature from DB) is sharing links. Our team uses the desktop app to work with files directly in finder, but we share links to files and folders on slack and in email, etc... Right now we click a link, it opens the browser as expected, we find the file path in browser and then follow that path in finder. That seems like an awful lot of work when we have a direct connection between our finder and dropbox in the app. Perhaps the website could provide a link that connects to the desktop app, opening the folder/file in finder or windows explorer. Seems like a reasonable option to me, but what do others think?24Views1like1CommentWhy can’t I invite someone to my shared folders?

Im having issues with paper document that we've uploaded a pdf - sent to clients and they are unable to view the image of the pdf on mobile or desktop? I've just been adding the pdf using the dropbox 'add' little image, searching for the pdf in a certain folder within our dropbox folders and then clicking upload. Changing the setting to view only as I don't need them to edit it only view it. Also it's a live working document that we make changes to so it must be a pdf doc. can't be a jpg. We can see it on our end in paper? Please can you help resolve this issue.44Views0likes4CommentsCan I no longer share files because I exceeded my daily bandwidth limit?
I shared a installation file in my public folder to transfer a 1GB file to my sister. The file was deleted after the transfer was completed. But now no one can access my shared links. I can still see in in my web browser but not in incognito mode. Did I violate a rule for sharing installation files? I know about the bandwidth cap and I am pretty sure I am way under the cap. Is there a way to see if I am banned or not? Thanks for the help.Solved63Views0likes3Comments
