Monterey 12.3.1 Normally my dropbox is SSD external storage. Now it is in macbook?? i cant move it? "This version of macOS reguires dropbox folders to be stored here"

I chose dropbox just because it gets on an external disk, can't anymore? I'm totally frustrated, last year 3 months didn't work at all for MacOs ..
