Peter's solution worked for me. Opened my iPhone in Photos, did an import, showed I had 3 files that it couldn't do anything with. Opened Image Capture, deleted those 3 files, Dropbox now works jus...

You got me super excited John!!! But it didn't work :\ I'm thinking about doing a complete fresh install of10.11 over the weekend with a complete download from Dropbox and see how that goes.
