Dear Community I am using Dropbox for at least 15 years, but yesterday I sadly disconnected myself from the Dropbox service due to unacceptable support from JustAnswer that ended up in me paying almost 50 dollats ( 1 dollar for the JustAnswer poor advice and 49 dollars for an annual plan to give you the wonderful opportunity to receive a full year of bad advices...) Dropbox was a wonderful service and I never had any complaint about the technical side or the customer care side of the Company, but apparently they outsource the customer service to a company that maybe is not keeping the high standards of Dropbox Anyone know how can I get my money back. I probably will not register again to Dropbox services as long as they outsource the customer support but I still want to recover the $50 dollars I was manipulated to pay to JustAnswer. Thank you very much! Hello, I have recently bought a seagate external storage that included a 180 day Dropbox Backup Plan. However, whenever I try to follow the steps to start the trial to upgrade my account, after putting all of my payment method information, I get the " To protect your info, please verify your payment." pop-up but there's nothing more going on. I don't receive any verification from the bank, no puzzle to solve or something else.I've tried doing it on different browsers, mobile, laptop, looked online for help but cannot find anything, and since technically my account is still on a "basic plan", there is no way for me to contact support. If I could get any help it would be greatly appreciated, Thank You I will leave here a screenshot with the error.1KViews0likes7CommentsBoxCryptor E2EE Integration: Which plans will get it?
Hi, I was a long-time subscriber to the Dropbox Plus plan before I changed to another provider. Now that Dropbox is working to incorporate the end-to-end encryption (E2EE) functionality of BoxCryptor, I'm thinking of switching back if it would be included in the Plus plan. Some sources online suggest that it might just be the "business plans" (which I would guess means Professional or above) that are included, but others suggest that it is *any* paid plan. Does anyone have information about which plans would be getting the E2EE? Thank you, ChemistrykidSolved1.4KViews1like3CommentsSynology NAS Dropbox Synchronisation | Business-Account
Hello, ive just installed an Synology NAS and connected it via Cloud Sync with my Dropbox-Account (right now its on "Business 30 Day Test"). It was necessary to update my plan to "business for small companies" .. otherwise it would not connect the NAS to the Dropbox. Now i can see that its written that every user costs 12€. So my question ist: When there is only one user registered, do i only need to pay 12€ per Monthts right? Or do i have to pay for minimum 3 users even there are no second or third users connected? So its 36€ per Months? Standard 12€ / Nutzer / Monat 5TB (5.000GB) • 3+ Nutzer The only reason why i set it up like this is because i want to have a backup of my Dropbox on the Synology NAS. In the case i need to pay for 3 users (even if only user is used) i dont want to use the synology nas for backup no more .. do you have any cheap recommendation for backup when having the normal "plus" plan? Its not a must to backup on Harddisk .. so you can also mention web-backup solutions. Thank you!970Views0likes1CommentI am on the basic plan. Do I have to pay a fee?
Hi, I just signed up for dropbox and was waiting for the prompt - Click Sign Up. On the Choose Your Dropbox Plan page, decide which plan you want. Also -ADropboxBasic account isfreeand includes 2 GB of space. You can downloadfreeapps to accessDropboxfrom your computer, phone, or tablet. I don't need more than 2GB. I see there are account fees. I did not give any info re accounts so am I now being charged and thru' where? Thx, Mark,Solved56KViews0likes3Comments
