Moving Dropbox on Windows 10 to another disc drive. How to achieve that?

My C drive is getting so full. I need to move Dropbox to my to save space as its slowing up my work and computer.

I am however reluctant to start to search how to do this if theres going to be an issue with using the files in software like sketchup on my computer. I remember having issues a long time ago but can’t remember why I didnt move the files over to and kept them on c drive

Am I going to have issues using the files when they are sitting in Dropbox? Currently it seems ok using them from c: would it be different for any reason if they are in my computers d drive

Also how would I go about doing this without it taking days?

Hey there, Judy P.3, let's jump right into this!

Let me start by saying that based on everything that you described it doesn't sound like there'll be a problem if you move your content from your C drive, on a different drive in your device.

However, if there will be an issue, or how long the process will take isn't something that we can guarantee beforehand.

It usually depends on your folder's content, and how many files you have within your Dropbox folder. As for the steps, you can have a closer look into this here.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know!
