Storage Space

In the left-most pane I have "All Files" selected.
Below that is a list of what I describe as "root folders" on Dropbox.
How do I determine the size of a root folder?
I understand that if it contains subfolders, that I can check-mark those subfolders the choose "calculate size".
But if it contains just files, what is the method? <-------
I ticked the "select all" box, and it shows you the number of files selected, but not the total size. I clicked the ellipsis beside "shar/download/delete" and "i" info, but the info pane shows nothing helpful.
Hey @Jacer - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Have you tried clicking on the banner in the upper part of the page and selecting the size option as shown below?
Let me know if this helps!

Hey @Jacer, let me also jump in here!
Let's try something else here.
Please hover over a column header and click the dropdown arrow, then select Size.
Once you do that hover over the name of folder and click the check box that appears on the left before clicking the "..." (ellipsis) next to the folder you'd like to calculate the size of.
Click Calculate size and wait for the size to be calculated. Can you give this one a go?

Hey @Jacer, would you be able to send me a few screenshots of the steps you've followed on your end?
I'm asking because I just tested it, and I can follow the steps on my end.

How do I determine the size of that folder and its contents?
I looked this up recently and pretty sure it ended at Dropbox had taken that functionality away.

Hi @OfficeInCT,
Dropbox cannot take away something never existed. It's impossible to determine root folder size and has never been possible. 🤷
I'm not sure what Dropbox staff is trying to explain actually - probably they cannot understand the question. 😂
By the way such information may be seen on account plan page. There can be seen how much is engaged and that's what root folder keeps (don't forget to exclude possible backups). 😉
Good luck.
