Hi larsdennert,
Thank you for the feedback on locating shared folders deep within your folder stucture. This issue with locating sub-folders has been brought up with our enginnering team and they are evaluating how best to resolve this issue.
When we redesigned dropbox.com/share, our goal was to declutter this page, and to focus your attention on content you can add to your Dropbox. We didn’t make any changes to the actions that you can take with shared folders.
We removed ‘Folders in your Dropbox’, because those folders can be found other places within the structure of your Dropbox account. To see the folders that appeared in the ‘Folders in your Dropbox’ section, you can filter the Files page on dropbox.com by type. To do this:
1. Go to dropbox.com
2. Click Files in the left side bar
3. Click the “Modified” filter at the top of the page. “Modified” is the default selection for this filter.
4. Select “Type” to see all the shared folders in your Dropbox account grouped together
You can read more about filtering your files here:

Hi,
this does not help at all.
I would need to see ALL shared folders in one place.
With this so called "solution/option" I cannot work.
I only see the shared folders which are in the files tab. But no shared folders which are in sub folders etc.
- larsdennert7 years agoCollaborator | Level 10I agree and it is a redundant function as you can already see if the list has any shared folder due to the People icon in the folder avatar. The problem lies in the hidden ones many folders down that you don't even know you've shared with someone. Besides wanting to make new shares, there's no way to see folders you have shared but forgotten about among TB's of data. People could be sharing data they don't intend to anymore and no way to audit that. At least they haven't yet taken away the screen that shows what links we've shared.

Agreed. This is not an acceptable solution, and not even close to the functionality that was taken away from us. We need a single page that displays ALL shared folders, regardless of where they're located with our folder structure.
Many people have trouble finding a shared folder. Either it's very deep in their folder structure or they simply don't remember where it is. We've helped many people, and often, who are trying to share a folder and can't because somewhere in the path is an already-shared folder that they can't locate. The Sharing page, as it existed previously, was a simple solution. "Go here and you'll see ALL of your shared folders. Find the one you want and unshare it."This needs to be fixed.
- Mark7 years agoSuper User IIAnother 'agree' here. Its a backwards step. It isnt a solution at all. How on earth it got past any management is beyond me. It is yet another change to the Dropbox website which removes functionality and makes the product way more complicated than it needs to be.

Totally agree here. Whoever approved this in the product team needs to be censured - at a minimum. There is no excuse for removing such simple, yet useful, functionality from the product. Changing the UI is fine. Just dumping it is NOT!
