external harddrive

Current PC folders all save to dropbox. I would like to also save contents from a SSD external drive to dropbox as well.  Help Please.

    • Make sure the external SSD drive is recognised and accessible by connecting it to your computer.
    • If you haven't already, download and install the Dropbox desktop application on your computer. It is available for download from the Dropbox website.
    • Utilise your Dropbox account credentials to log in to the Dropbox desktop application.
    • Go to your computer's Dropbox folder and open it. By default, it can be found in your user directory, which is often situated in either your user directory on Windows or your user directory on a Mac.
    • Create a new folder inside the Dropbox directory to house the data from the external SSD disc. When within the Dropbox folder, you may right-click, choose "New Folder," and give the new folder a suitable name.

Hey jdpink4, I just wanted to add that if you'd like to backup your external drive instead of having it synced in your Dropbox folder, you can use the steps outlined here.

      I hope this helps!
