How did you start this trial? Was it directly through the Dropbox website or from the Dropbox app on your phone (through iTunes/Google Play)?
If it's from your phone, can you follow these steps, to make sure it's cancelled?

Thanks for the reply. The free trial was used via website on a PC. The cancellation email was also not found in my spam.

If you deleted your Dropbox account, I don’t believe you’d be charged after that point.
However, you can always reach back to us here, in case you receive any type of Dropbox charges in the near future, and we'll have a look for you.
