Business plan to family plan. Will my data and shared folder safe?
Hi
I've been using personal standard plan and just joined business plan for free trial. But I would like to switch my subscription plan to family plan instead of keeping business one.
If I cancel my business plan would any of my files and shared folders will be effected? I have just one account for dropbox and I will continue using same account.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
No you wont lose anything. All you may find is a short period where things done sync (as you need to let your current plan cancel and not renew before you can add on Family).

- poppinwithflavorNew member | Level 2Thanks I proceed with changing my plan without checking your answer and yes it worked without any damage.
- kostakaExplorer | Level 3Hello, Mark. I have got kinda the same question. But I have 2 users in my Business account and I would like to change to Family account. What is the simplest way to do that without losing all the folder access settings? Thanks in advance.

The process is exactly the same, but, whats changed now is that Teams are not supported except in Business. So down grade and re-upgrade BUT be aware of things that are not supported - for example Teams or the granular sharing permissions Teams allow.
