Upload and download Priority List

Upload and download Priority List

carloscarneiro

when uploading or downloanding large project files structure, we could have a feature to see the actual file that is being uploaded/downloaded. Within this list, we could select the priority file to be upload/downloaded. This feature will be a large improvement in the ability to share files between clients and ohter devices.

Hi there @carloscarneiro - thanks for sharing your thoughts on this with us.

Could you clarify which platform you're talking about? Is this for the mobile app or the website?

I'm only asking since this is already available in the desktop app.

Keep me posted!

in the desktop app. If this is available i'm not aware of. The ideia is to select files during the upload/download, and decide the priority necessary. It will be good to decide as you go along.
thanks for the feedback

You should be able to prioritize files to sync by using the 'Sync next' option in the desktop app @carloscarneiro

You can find more information about this here

Hello, thanks for sharing. sync next is a great feature, but I was looking for something more complex, which would allow me to control several uploads and downloads at once, as well as their priorities.

The inability to be able to prioritise which files sync first on the Personal Plus plan is a deal breaker.

Since this has been requested multiple times over the years, I can only conclude it's a policy decision not to enable it on the base plan.

The irony is that I'm better off on the free plan which hands me control over which files I choose to upload first.

I've got less than 2 weeks remaining of a 30 day trial. Please advise if you intend to change this policy before then.

Thank you,

Bart

The idea of having a list to prioritize both downloads and uploads is great. Using sync next is an excellent tool, but it requires us to always pay attention to the next download.

Thank you
