Skip/play next audio files from folder

Skip/play next audio files from folder

i would need to be able to use folders as the equivalent of a playlist and be able to skip to the next file or play the next file when the previous one is done. As a musician that would be extremely useful for my own productions and could replace SoundCloud for sharing.

I support the idea for a media player in Dropbox too.

It would be great to have the next track / previous track button at the very least.

hello,

when can you guys make a continuous play option?

I saw a post saying ur not a music player, but that makes zero sense.

ur a media storage company, & all musicians I know use dropbox for music collaboration.

could you please make this feature asap, its about to be 2022, this should be beyond obvious.

please please please and thank you.

Hi when I play music in a folder with just wav and mp3 files, can you make the playback continuous?… with repeat options?

Thanks, Scotty Li

I became a forum member solely to upvote this feature. The whole music community around the world would benefit from this, and would make Dropbox the only needed app for sooo many people. Please make this happen! A media player-style feature would be awesome, but just being able to swipe for next or previous file in the folder would streamline our workflow tremendously.

Hey guys,

Dropbox updated recently and stopped being able to play music in background

It also stops playing when I rotate my phone and re-buffers.

I'm a music producer/soundtrack artist and this really lowered the relevance of uploading my stuff to dropbox....

I wanna be able to  write comments and ideas while listening, or replying to relevant mails and so on

I'm using Samsung FE20

While I play music on my google drive this works flawlessly

anyway you can sort this out?

Thanks a lot

Yes! This would be so nice. Ever since Apple made their iOS Music app so dependent on having an Apple Music subscription I've hated using it. I've switched to using Dropbox as my music player (when not using Spotify)

Adding the ability to play through a folder of songs (similar to a playlist) in a Dropbox folder would be great. Tying it to the iOS UI (like on the lock screen) to be able to go next/prev song would help as well.

As an addition, having Dropbox display the artwork tied to the audio file would be super cool too.
