Hi one thing I find time consuming is when I search folders I prefer it viewed as a ‘list’ but when I open the folder I prefer ‘thumbnails.’ Unfortunately I have to constantly scroll up to change the view folder options back and forth. It would be awesome if you could have folder viewing rules in settings so that I could set how each folder and sub folder is viewed. I’m a visual user, a photographer and this would really improve my experience and efficiency.

Yes, exactly this.  Oddly enough, before recently (within past few months?) I used to be able to do this.  Each folder stayed how I put it (grid view, list, etc.).  It no longer does that.

We use Dropbox for an architectural business and when we renovate a building, we take lots of photos.  I want to be able to see the folders in list view so I don't need to scroll a bunch to see their names, while being able to see the photos (which would be in one of those folders) in large grid view so I can take a quick look of each photo before opening it.  Each folder's setting should stay how I set it without affecting other folders' settings.
