My first post on this was over a year ago (14.5 months to be slightly more precise). I've never had a response, nor has anyone that has posted following me.
Does anyone from Dropbox even read these discussions? What happened to 'Ed, the Dropboxer'?
No doubt you'd agree, this has gotten to be quite ridiculous.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on ways to improve Dropbox. While we may not actively post here, our team is constantly reading the feedback shared by you all.
I've already passed this on to our dev team but I'll add the latest comments to it.
I've just upgraded to the paid version ans want to sort/delete photos and i'm looking everywhere for the button to change view size but it seems according to this thread that you cannot?
I CANNOT BELIEVE It!!! I haven't come across this situation with any other program.
Dropbox is great overall but this is a HUGE LET DOWN making Dropbox just a storage facility but not a file management system which it could so easily be.
- What happened to your original query/response to the OP (from ~ April 2015) to which I replied? Why has it been removed?
- When do you expect that this issue will actually be addressed? I see you've replied to many of the other threads on this topic (also back to April 2015) so Dropbox must surely have an answer by now. Here are just a few to jog your memory:
After Google pulled the plug on Picasa, I am considering moving all my images to dropbox. The lack of a thumbnail view in the folders is a serious issue. The lack of being able to use tagging another. Finally, after some searching, I found light photo editing features, which is great, but quite hidden. All this could be made so much easier for the users!
Could dropbox please publish their feature development backlog, so that users have an idea when and if specific and very standard features such as these ones are going to be deployed?
It's been well over a year since this thread was started and still no tile view. What's the issue? Google and One Drive have it. I just assumed Dropbox did as well.
Oh, it's been more than a year. I've found people posting requests for this for at least three years. Dropbox can't even be bothered to reply. I've emailed support directly, asked them on their Facebook page, and asked them on their Twitter account. Plus, there are NUMEROUS threads like this on the forum asking the same thing.
Dropbox won't even #@!$%ing acknowledge the question, or give us a basic answer.
I'm a photographer/artist, so having decent-sized thumbnails is ESSENTIAL for what I do.
You say Google and One Drive offer them? Hmmm. I might have to let this account expire and move to one of them instead.
