Deleting files from Recents folder

Deleting files from Recents folder

I want to be able to delete files from my Recents folder without deleting them from Dropbox. I do not want to just hide them because it is easy for someone to select "show recents" and see the files I viewed. This is an urgent feature Dropbox needs to implement.

Hello,
I would like to suggest that you give the option to remove a file from the Recent tab even if you are not the owner and it is not contained in your Dropbox account.

Currently when the file is saved in your account or part of your team folder, you can go to the three dots on the right side of the screen and choose to delete, archive, etc., but, if you are not the owner of the file and it is not contained in your Dropbox account, you can't remove it from the Recent tab.

To have the ability to turn off AND prevent, not just manually "hide," the "sync history" and "activity" in Windows 10, Android, and also online in the browser. I can turn off or completely remove any future recent activity or past activity history listings in Windows and Android, so why not in Dropbox?

I think the recent file history should be able to be cleared. I share my Dropbox with other family members, and don't necessarily want to see their recent files when I open Dropbox.
