We have several meetings a month that use a custom meeting template for agenda and notes. It would be really nice to have the set up automatically in dropbox paper and be able to use them as templates.
To us, this is a basic need for any company that does the same thing over and over (i.e. virtually every company in the world)
Our basic need is to create a complex checklist and then clone it (Blank) for each client that needs the checklist to be fulfilled.
Once the checklist is completed, it needs to be kept for that client.
I think this is really simple and copying and pasting the content of the checklist is one way to do it, but does seem to be a little antiquated in today's world where you can generally, clone, duplicate and share everything.
We were considering using Paper instead of Trello and Evernote, but until this is resolved, we will probably just play with it and continue using Evernote and Trello. Right now Paper looks like it has great potential, but it doesn't do anything that Evernote doesn't already do better.
This would be a great addition. I currently copy paste all, but templates are a lot more intuitive, and gives the possibility for automatic date fields etc. (even OneNote has this)
A save as template feature would be great - I'm trying to roll out Paper across our organisation, but it won't fly without the ability to create templates..
Templates - I have created folders in which I want to store documents in. For example when we have staff meetings i want to be able to click on a template minutes document, change the date and then start typing. Presently is seems the only way to do this is to go back to the welcome page to create new meeting notes.
If there is no way of doing this then i would suggest there be a Save As funtion to save a new document under a new name or something similar.
