Automating fulfillment of file requests

Automating fulfillment of file requests

Let’s say many people send me file requests. I want to fulfill such requests with a program. Instead of manually dragging files inside browser.

I think that it would be very handy. You could charge for allowing the such. Please explain if you still don’t have the API, why do you not want to do it.

Hi @Darshovits, thanks for contacting us.

Could you clarify what you're describing exactly?

Are you referring to sending files to users using their file requests automatically, or are you referring to receiving the files from a request automatically?

If you could provide the step-by-step workflow on this matter, it would help us greatly.

Certainly not receiving because receiving is handled automatically and dropped in the box.

So yes I was talking about the sending. And I think I was clear. Sending is strictly manual labor.

So, from what I gather you'd like to automate the process of uploading back to open file requests others have sent you - is that correct @Darshovits

This is true. Whats annoying is that you force me back in here 3 times and I am so clear about it. And now you will say that "we do not want to have that". And I asked why? Why not? If you intend to ask me again something, DONT!

Hi @Darshovits ,

First I would like to thank you for reaching out to us, secondly for clarifying it. We just wanted to make sure we have the right info before we share it with the team.

As such we'll share this feedback with them, and hopefully this idea will continue to gather support from other Dropbox Community members too, so this way we'll keep the team in the loop.
