Allow a personal account to have more than 3 TB

Allow a personal account to have more than 3 TB

Hello,

I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. This option has to become available soon.

Hi all.

Ive got a 3TB account with a 1TB extra but I need more space and dont want to have to pay for multiple users on the business plan just to get more space.

Does Dropbox not offer any more space to an individual whether business or personal?????

This seems quite mad!

Thanks!

I hate to leave Dropbox, but with Sync offering 6TB for the same (or lower) prices - I'm on the verge of moving over. File sizes continue to increase as we move from 4k to 8k video and as a small single person business who works in Video and 3D animation, I'm feeling the size crunch. I'm backing more and more offline and would love to see Dropbox at least offer a 6TB version even if slightly more expensive....

Ja z chęcią zapłacę dwa razy więcej pieniędzy, za dwa razy więcej miejsca. Tylko to udostępnijcie 🙂

Be able to buy as much storage space without upgrading to a enterprise, because for solo creators like myself, it would be great as google allows us to do the same, but dropbox has better performance and quality.

Please add more space to individual plans. For some, 3TB (+ 1TB Addon) is not enough. It would be great to have the option to add as many 1TB Addons as needed🤓

This issue has been a hot topic for quite some time now.  Obviously Drop Box doesn't care to listen to their clients.  I am wondering what other options people have used with success.  I am at that point where I will need to kick drop box to the curb and go elsewhere.  in this day and age of cloud storage....they are quite behind the times, and it's getting to be VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

The fact that there is no resolution to this after 2 years is pathetic. Thanks for doing absolutely nothing guys.

I completely agree with the above comments.  I am dangerously close to leaving Dropbox after at least 10 years of loyalty.  I will never need more than 1 user in my account and will have to pay double for space with features I don't need.  Just sell chunks of storage to individuals already.

This is a no-brainer really. There's a lot of freelancers and even families with enormous picture libraries that need a good cloud-based backup service.

This needs a solution urgently, so we won't have to look elsewhere.

PS! One more thing - your backup solution needs some work as well. It should be an option to download/sync a complete backup to a new hard drive, without downloading individual/partial library zip-files (hope I won't ever have to do that again...).
