Are all these desktop client update releases at such short intervals really necessary? - this is the second one within a week!
- AngryGamesHelpful | Level 5They are necessary for those of us who are still having an issue updating/installing DropBox (Error 2).
- AngryGamesHelpful | Level 5Just tried this latest build. Error 2, same as always. PLEASE CONTACT MICROSOFT AND HAVE THEM HELP YOU (US). This is getting ridiculous. If your software engineers are incapable of resolving this issue, at least let someone from Microsoft have a go at it so those of us with this issue can get on with our work instead of lingering in limbo for almost a month.

Seeing problems with this build and Google Chrome. Launching Dropbox.com from the tray icon causes Google Chrome to crash immediately. If Google Chrome is already open the crash does not occur. Have been able to replicate on a fair number of computers on and off our network so issue seems to point to something in this release. Someone had commented about similar issue with previous release. Unfortunately once Google Chrome has crashed on launch there is no way to do anything further to use things like developer tools etc to see what might be going on.
