Dropbox embedder
Hi, i'm using the new dropbox embedder. I've made the folder as shared folder. But inside the folders, I have also sub folders. The issue is the sub folders cannot be accessed. How to fix this ? Error message:
Owner hasn’t granted you access to this link
superheroEK Thanks, that's helpful. I've looked into your Embedder setup, and I see this is failing because of the use of a type of shared link not meant for use with the Dropbox Embedder.
Specifically, your Embedder is configured with an "edit" shared link (with "/scl/fo" in the URL), however the Embedder is meant for use with "view" shared links (with "/sh" in the URL).
I'll ask the team to see if we can update the Embedder to fully support edit links like that, but to avoid these issues, please replace the edit link with a view link. You can find information on creating shared links here.

Hi superheroEK, thanks for messaging the Community.
Could you clarify what you mean by the Dropbox embedder?
Are you referring to using the API to access Dropbox?
This will help me to assist further!

This one: https://dropbox.tech/developers/now-available--dropbox-embedder
This is the working sample I want to copy: https://ceridap.eu/en/documents-on-the-covid-19-emergency/
If you see in this page, there are sub folders that can be clicked: https://prnt.sc/GVnakmPzm8FE
Once clicked, it will open the files inside that sub folders.
My issue is how to make the sub folders clickable ? Because in my page, when I clicked the sub folder, it displays like this https://prnt.sc/dAmgv_2ve27y.

Hi superheroEK,
If you "want to copy: https://ceridap.eu/en/documents-on-the-covid-19-emergency/", then just copy it. 😉 The following is part of that page responsible for link embedding (as is; together with the link):
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.dropbox.com/static/api/2/dropins.js" id="dropboxjs" data-app-key="cdoxsqm1vtmhued"></script> <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/sh/znsbu621inr1k1x/AACBdpg6jAlf-rliJwOkT_q2a" class="dropbox-embed" data-height="500px"></a>
That's it - just put it on suitable place. The error you receive shows that you're using different link (probably with limited access). Make sure you can access the link, you're using, in private browsing mode! 👈 Otherwise it won't work. If needed, change to public access permission.
Hope this helps.
