thomas l.14 : keep the faith, one day they will release a change log.

I was working with sync paused and while I was working dropbox did a client update and turned sync back on automatically. This was inconvenient and should not happen. I paused sync for a reason and dropbox should respect that.

now I know why they do not provide changelogs, as the changes and the version number seem to have no correlation at all.

win 10, 43.4.50, I still have the start on system startup option while others for the same version do not  ...., go figure ....

The Offline Installer for windows immediately resolved the problem I had, which was the same as appeared in https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Installation-and-desktop-app/Dropbox-failed-to-uninstall-desktop-version/m-p/266550#M49347

"Dropbox failed to uninstall - desktop version"

Mine in windows 7 refused to load on PC or uninstal.

Executing the Officeline installer seemed to fix problem, load dropbox and trigger sync immediately,

    thanks & GBU for sharing!
